Valdez was brilliant in his last appearance, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out five over five scoreless innings. He owned a (5-3) record, 3.57 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 76 strikeouts over 70 2/3 innings during the regular season. Valdez will look to keep things rolling on Tuesday.
