Framber Valdez picked up the win on Tuesday when he allowed two runs on five hits with four strikeouts and one walk across seven innings in the Astros 5-2 win over the A's in Game 2 of the ALDS.
Fantasy Impact:
Valdez was rock solid in this one, inducing 11 ground ball outs and limiting the A's to just five hits over his seven innings of work. His only real mistakes were a pair of solo homers to Khris Davis and Chad Pinder, respectively. The 'Stros are now one win away from reaching their fourth-consecutive ALCS.
