by Jon Mathisen | White Sox Correspondent | Tue, Oct 6th 8:37pm EDT

Martin Maldonado went 1-for-3 with a home run as the Astros took down the A's 5-2 in Game 2 of the ALDS on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Maldonado started a back-to-back with George Springer when he belted a Sean Manaea offering for a solo shot in the top of the fifth inning. Manaea was lifted and replaced by Yusmeiro Petit, who Springer took deep for his second dinger of the game. The veteran backstop is having a quiet postseason thus far with a .200/.200/.400 batting line to go along with one home run and one RBI across 15 at-bats ( four games).
