Brooks Raley was handed the loss on Wednesday when he gave up two runs on one hit with two strikeouts and two walks over two innings in the Astros loss to the A's in Game 3 of the ALDS.
Fantasy Impact:
Raley entered in the seventh inning with score even at seven runs apiece. He retired the side in order in his first frame but ran into trouble in the eighth inning when he issued a pair of walks, a double, a HBP, and two sacrifice flies, which accounted for the go-ahead runs. Houston's comeback fell short and Raley was saddled with the loss. Through two appearances so far in the postseason, he's registered a 6.75 ERA, 1.88 WHIP, and a 3:3 K/BB ratio.
