Manny Machado goes yabo for only hit in Game 2 loss

by Jon Mathisen | Padres Correspondent | Thu, Oct 8th 12:17pm EDT

Manny Machado went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in the Padres 6-5 loss to the Dodgers in Game 2 of the NLDS on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Machado took Clayton Kershaw deep in the top of the sixth inning to pull the Padres within two runs. Eric Hosmer followed him with a solo blast of his own in the next at-bat but the one run deficit was as close as San Diego would get. The third baseman is having a slow postseason by batting kust .136/.174/.409 with two home runs across 22 at-bats.
