Ramon Laureano went off on Thursday, going 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI as the A's fell to the Astros 11-6 and were eliminated from the playoffs.
Laureano put Oakland on the board with his three-run blast off Zack Greinke in the second inning. He victimized Greinke again in the fifth inning, this time for a solo home run. The centerfielder hit just .192 with a .684 OPS in the postseason and had a disappointing regular season overall but there is a lot of upside given his age and talent level. He should still be drafted as a top-100 player in fantasy drafts next spring.
