Jordan Montgomery yields one run in first career postseason start

by Brad Camara | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Fri, Oct 9th 6:05am EDT

Jordan Montgomery allowed one run on three hits and three walks while striking out four over four innings in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Rays in Game 4 of the ALDS. He did not factor into the decision.

Fantasy Impact:

Montgomery started in his first career playoff game Thursday. He limited the Rays bats to one run, but walked three. It was the first time Montgomery pitched since September 24th. The 27-year-old left-hander will likely draw the start in one of the four contests in the ALCS against the Astros if the Yankees are able to advance.
