Adrian Morejon takes the loss as San Diego's season comes to an end

by Jon Mathisen | Padres Correspondent | Fri, Oct 9th 12:39pm EDT

Adrian Morejon took the loss on Thursday when surrendered three runs on two hits with two strikeouts and a pair of walks over two innings as the Padres fell to the Dodgers 12-3 in Game 3 of the NLDS.

Fantasy Impact:

Morejon got the start for the Padres and was one of 11 pitchers used by San Diego as they tried to force a potential game 4. Morejon was tagged for three runs over his two innings of work and that would be enough to saddle him with the loss and end the Padres' season. The 21-year old rookie showed some strong strikeout upside this regular season with a 4.66 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and a 25:4 K/BB ratio over 19 1/3 innings.
