Blake Treinen takes the loss in Game 1 defeat on Monday

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Mon, Oct 12th 11:53pm EDT

Blake Treinen took the loss on Monday when he surrendered three runs on three hits over 1/3 of an inning in the Dodgers 5-1 loss to the Braves in Game 1 of the NLCS.

Fantasy Impact:

Treinen entered in the top of the ninth inning with the game tied and promptly gave up a solo blast to Austin Riley, the nine hitter, to give Atlanta a 2-1 advantage. He then surrendered a double to Ronald Acuña Jr., before getting Freddie Freeman to line out. Marcell Ozuna knocked in Acuña in the next at-bat and Treinen was replaced by Jake McGee, who gave up a two-run dinger to Ozzie Albies, which officially closed the books. Treinen had been stellar so far this postseason before Monday's meltdown, registering a 0.00 ERA over 3 1/3 innings.
