Max Muncy hits first long ball of postseason in Tuesday's loss

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Oct 14th 12:28am EDT

Max Muncy went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and two walks in the Dodgers 8-7 loss to the Braves in Game 2 of the NLCS on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Muncy picked up his dinger, his only hit of the night and first HR of the postseason, in the ninth inning as the Dodgers mounted a late game comeback. LA left 17 runners on base and ended up losing by one run to go down 2-0 in the series. Muncy's batting woes from the regular season have carried over into the playoffs, unfortunately. He's still getting on base at a solid clip but finds himself hitting below the Mendoza line with a .182/.419/.364 triple slash to go along with one home run and four RBI in 22 at-bats this postseason.
