Justin Verlander to start season on DL

Tigers manager Brad Ausmus has confirmed that SP Justin Verlander will start the regular season on the DL. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Verlander has been battling soreness in his triceps, and this wasn't totally unexpected. He was slated to pitch Friday, and if all went well he would have been inline to be in the rotation to start the season. The belief is that this will likely cause him to miss only one turn in the rotation, but be aware that you'll have to look for another option for the opening week.
