Mike Clevinger (elbow) will not require offseason surgery

Fantasy Impact:

Clevinger has been dealing with an elbow injury since mid-September, but will not need surgery to correct the issue. He lasted only one inning during his one start in the NLDS against the Dodgers. "It doesn't seem like either situation is surgical,” said Preller. “Both (Dinelson Lamet) saw elbow specialists. Rest and recovery were recommended. Padres expect both fully available for Spring Training.”
