Clayton Kershaw loses steam in Game 4 defeat

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Fri, Oct 16th 11:28am EDT

Clayton Kershaw took the loss on Thursday when he surrendered four runs on seven hits with four strikeouts and one walk in the Dodgers 10-2 loss to the Braves in Game 4 of the NLCS.

Fantasy Impact:

Kershaw looked fine through the first five innings with the only Atlanta run coming via a Marcell Ozuna home run. He came back out for the sixth and gave up a single to Ronald Acuña Jr. then back-to-back doubles to Freddie Freeman and Marcell Ozuna before being yanked. The Dodgers bullpen couldn't hold down the Braves' offense, either, and LA finds itself, shockingly, down 3-1 entering Friday's Game 5. They'll turn to Dustin May to try and stave off elimination.
