Will Smith blows save, takes loss in Game 5 defeat on Friday

Will Smith blew a save and took the loss on Friday when he allowed two earned runs on one hit with a walk over 1/3 of an inning in the Braves 7-3 loss to the Dodgers in Game 5 of the NLCS.

Fantasy Impact:

Smith allowed a go-ahead three-run blast off the bat of, none other than, Will Smith on a 3-2 pitch to give LA a 4-2 advantage. They would never relinquish the lead and Smith was saddled with the loss on top of the blown save. After not allowing a run over his first 5 1/3 innings this postseason, the big left-hander has given up three runs over the last 2/3 of an inning. Overall, he owns a 2-1 record with a 4.50 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and a 7:3 K/BB ratio over six innings of work this postseason.
