Pete Fairbanks allowed two hits and one walk while striking out three over one 1/3 scoreless inning during Saturday's 4-2 win over the Astros in Game 7 of the ALCS.

Fairbanks recorded the final four outs in Game 7 to secure the save in Saturday's win. He entered the game in the eighth frame with two runners on base and walked Michael Brantley to load the bases. Fairbanks allowed a two-run single to Carlos Correa before striking out Alex Bregman to end the threat. The 26-year-old reliever compiled three saves along with a 2.16 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 13 strikeouts over eight 1/3 innings this postseason.
