Dustin May goes one inning in Game 7 thriller

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Mon, Oct 19th 12:15am EDT

Dustin May got the start as the opener and allowed one run on one hit with two walks and one strikeout in the Dodgers 4-3 win over the Braves in Game 7 of the NLCS on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

May got off to a rough start in this one as he walked the first two batters of the ball game on eight straight pitches. He ended up giving up a run but things could have been worse under the circumstances; he was pitching on short rest and had a short leash. In the end, the rest of the Dodgers bullpen did enough to hold down Atlanta and secure LA's third trip to the World Series in the last four years.
