Marcell Ozuna went 1-for-4 with an RBI single as the Braves were topped by the Dodgers 4-3 in Game 7 of the NLCS on Sunday.
Ozuna opened up the scoring in the ball game when he squeezed an RBI single between shortstop and third in the first inning to score Ronald Acuña Jr. It would be his only hit of the game and Atlanta would fail to stage a late game rally after relinquishing the lead in the seventh inning. Ozuna signed a one-year $18 million contract last off-season that paid big dividends for the Braves; after his monster regular season (.338/.431/.636 with 18 HR and 56 RBI) the outfielder put up a decent postseason with a .255/.283/.490 with three home runs and 11 RBI. He should draw a ton of interest on the open market this off-season but it wouldn't be surprising to see Atlanta try and bring him back for a multi-year deal.
