Max Muncy was struck in the face by a ground ball while taking infield prior to Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday night. (Jon Morosi on Twitter)
Ken Rosenthal has since reported on MLB Network that Muncy is "fine." The grounder hit Muncy right below his right eye, but he has since taken live batting practice and is ready to face Tyler Glasnow tonight. Muncy is playing first base and batting cleanup.
