Braves president Alex Anthopoulos says the team "would love to" re-sign OF Marcell Ozuna. (braves.mlb.com)

Fantasy Impact:

No surprise here. “Marcell was amazing for us. He was awesome. I’d love to have him back," Anthopoulos said. Ozuna settled for a one-year, $18 million contract following a couple of down seasons with the Cardinals. It proved to be a tremendous value for the Braves as Ozuna wound up leading the National League in homers (18) and RBI (56) while finishing third in batting average (.338). The Braves have had some recent success with one-year deals, both with Ozuna this year and with Josh Donaldson in 2019. It remains to be seen if they would pay what it would take to bring him back on a multi-year deal. The Red Sox have been suggested as another team who might have interest in Ozuna's services.
