Austin Barnes belts first homer of postseason in Game 3 victory

by Jon Mathisen | Dodgers Correspondent | Sat, Oct 24th 1:30am EDT

Austin Barnes went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in the Dodgers 6-2 win over the Rays in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Barnes picked up his first RBI with a sacrifice bunt in the fourth inning and then tacked on an insurance solo shot, his first of the playoffs, off of John Curtiss in the top of the sixth inning. The 30-year old backstop is having an impressive postseason, albeit in a limited sample of just 20 at-bats, with a .350/.381/.500 batting line to go along with one home run and three RBI.
