Braves acquire SP Trevor Cahill from D-Backs for OF Josh Elander

The Braves acquired Trevor Cahill from the Diamondbacks and received $6.5M in the trade. That will cover a little more than half of Cahill's $12M salary. Cahill immediately joins the Braves starting rotation for 2015. (David O'Brien on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Cahill is a desperate gamble for Braves GM John Hart. He should only chew innings for those in deep, deep leagues. Everybody else just stand by and watch the demolition derby the Braves will be in 2015. This now opens a rotation spot in Arizona for Archie Bradley.
