Nick Markakis goes 2-for-3 against Orioles

The Altanta Braves pounded out 14 hits in a 6-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles. Nick Markakis, who has been struggling all spring, went 2-for-3. Although both hits were singles and his average is just .182 in Grapefruit League play, it was a positive sign for Markakis moving forward.
Fantasy Impact:
Markakis was just 4-for-22 with 3 strikeouts after missing much of the first part of spring due to injury. He's likely to start producing as he gets more at-bats. Owners may want to hold off playing Markakis regularly in the early part of the season until he gets his timing down.
