Wilson Ramos will have 2021 option declined

The Mets plan to decline Wilson Ramos' 2021 $10 million club option, per beat reporter Mike Puma. (Mike Puma on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The move would make the 33-year old a free agent and free to sign anywhere this offseason. He registered a .239/.297/.387 batting line to go along with five home runs and 15 RBI across 142 at-bats in the shortened 2020 season. While the offensive numbers weren't all that bad, Ramos has been a liability behind the plate for the Mets. New York will likely add a new catcher through free agency this winter.
