Juan Soto to become arbitration eligible this offseason

Todd Dybas of NBC Sports Washington reports Juan Soto will likely become arbitration eligible this offseason. (NBC Sports Washington)
Fantasy Impact:
Dybas writes that Soto's service time is "expected to move him just beyond the arbitration-eligible threshold to be agreed upon by the Major League Baseball Players Association and league in the coming days." This means that Soto will be a Super 2 player, and he'll likely break the salary record for first-time arbitration eligible players. That record currently belongs to Kris Bryant, who earned $10.85 million back in 2018.
