Rays GM Erik Neander told reporters on Friday that they won't be picking up the options on Morton or catcher Mike Zunino. Morton's option was valued at $15 million. He won't receive a buyout and is now a free agent. The veteran right-hander has hinted at the possibility of retirement in the past.
