Fantasy Impact:
It means that he'll remain with the team in 2021. It's no surprise that Castellanos isn't opting out given the alarming early indications of the free agent market. Castellanos got off to a torrid start in 2020 but wound up hitting just .225 with 14 homers and a .784 OPS. He could wind up as an appealing bounce-back option in spring drafts next year.
