There is virtually no chance Bauer will accept the offer as he's coming off of a Cy Young worthy 2020 when he registered a 1.73 ERA, 0.79 WHIP, and a 100:17 K/BB ratio across 73 innings (11 starts). The 29-year old is due for a massive pay day this winter.
