Kelly Johnson goes 1-for-2 against former team
by Kerry Kauffman | Sat, Apr 4th 9:34am EDT
The Atlanta Braves got just five hits in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Baltimore Orioles. Kelly Johnson got one of those hits against his former team, going 1-for-2 with two walks and an RBI. He's hitting .308 this spring with an impressive .429 on-base-percentage.
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson, a non-roster invitee, hit only .215 with seven home runs and 27 RBI in 265 at-bats last season with the Orioles. The 33-year old third baseman is a career .250 hitter with 131 home runs and 469 RBI. Should Johnson make the Braves roster, he's likely to see limited playing time and have little fantasy value.
