Curtis Granderson sizzles at the plate

by Kerry Kauffman | Sat, Apr 4th 10:04am EDT

Curtis Granderson went 2-for-4 on Friday during the Mets win over the Texas Rangers. Granderson is now hitting .440 with three home runs, 13 RBI, 10 runs scored and 10 walks in 21 games this spring. It's a good sign for Granderson and the Mets heading into the regular season. Granderson his just .227 with 20 home runs and 66 RBI in 564 at-bats last season.

Fantasy Impact:

Granderson probably wont approach the numbers he put up with the Yankees, when he had back-to-back 40-plus home run seasons. He certainly is capable of being more productive than last season. Expect Granderson to hit between 25 and 30 home runs, improve his batting average and be a solid starting outfield option for fantasy owners.
