Mike Clevinger, Padres working towards a two-year deal

Robert Murray of FanSided reports that Mike Clevinger and the Padres are working on a two-year contract that'll wipe out his remaining arbitration years. (Robert Murray on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Clevinger would remain under team control through 2022, so this isn't technically an "extension." Still, it would be nice for the Padres to lock in Clevinger's salaries over the next two seasons. Clevinger suffered an elbow injury late in the 2020 campaign but he isn't expected to require offseason surgery.
