Jose Reyes goes 1-for-3 in final spring tuneup

by Marc Walton | Sat, Apr 4th 5:53pm EDT

Jose Reyes ends Spring Training going 1-for-3 with an RBI against the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

The good news for Reyes owners is he finished the spring healthy, the bad news is this is a player that has eclipsed 150 games played once in the last six seasons. Drafting Reyes is always high-risk/high-reward, however when he does give you a healthy season, the returns are a top five fantasy shortstop. Reyes will once again hit at the top of a powerful Blue Jays lineup, so he will provide top value in runs scored, as well as stolen base numbers in the 30's. With a career .291 average, Reyes is a strong, albeit risky, three-category fantasy shortstop.
