Austin Slater (elbow) should be 100 percent by spring

by Jon Mathisen | Giants Correspondent | Thu, Nov 19th 12:21am EST

Austin Slater, who dealt with a flexor strain in his right elbow during the 2020 season, is expected to be 100-percent by spring, per the Giants president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi. (Alex Pavlovic on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Slater was a stellar contributor both in real life and in fantasy baseball when healthy last year but injuries limited him to just 85 at-bats. He still managed to slash .282/.408/.506 with five home runs and eight stolen bases. He''ll be a sneaky late-round draft choice in fantasy drafts next spring if he has a healthy offseason with no setbacks.
