There will then be a 30-day negotiating window for MLB teams to acquire Kim's services. The 25-year-old can play third base, shortstop, and second base. He's coming off a fantastic season, hitting .310 with 28 homers and 21 steals in 128 games. Still in his prime, Kim should have no problem receiving a multi-year contract.
