The Rockies traded RHP Jeff Hoffman and RHP Case Williams to the Reds in exchange for OF Jameson Hannah and RHP Robert Stephenson on Wednesday. (Robert Murray on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Hoffman struggled for the Rockies in 2020, posting a 9.28 ERA, 1.92 WHIP and 20 strikeouts over 21 1/3 innings. He spent the first few seasons in his career as a starter, but transitioned to the bullpen last year. Hoffman will give the Reds a late-inning arm, but is low in the pecking order for save opportunities with the move to Cincinnati.
