DiComo noted that this isn't a done deal yet but "there is smoke." May put up a 3.86 ERA, 1.157 WHIP, and a 38:7 K/BB ratio over 23 1/3 innings with the Twins last season. His addition would certainly help bolster the Mets bullpen, which registered a 4.60 ERA as a unit in 2020, which was actually an improvement from the 4.99 mark they put up in 2019.
