Jakob Junis agrees to one-year deal with the Royals

Jakob Junis has agreed to a guaranteed one-year, $1.7 million deal with the Royals. He had enough service time to be arbitration-eligible, per Mark Feinsand. (Mark Feinsand on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Royals were able to avoid arbitration with the deal and lock up the 28-year old for another season. Junis has shown promise earlier in his career and Kansas City is obviously hoping he can improve on the 6.39 ERA and 1.62 WHIP he registered over 25 1/3 innings in 2020.
