Joe Ross agrees to one-year deal with Nats, avoids arbitration

Joe Ross has agreed to a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Nationals to avoid arbitration, per Mark Feinsand. He was arbitration-eligible for the third time in his career. (Mark Feinsand on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Ross opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns but will compete for a 2021 starting rotation spot this spring. The 27-year old holds a career 4.29 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and a 294:107 K/BB ratio over 335 1/3 innings, all with the Nationals.
