Matthew Boyd: Tigers will tender a contract to the LHP

Fantasy Impact:
Boyd will avoid arbitration and is expected to be tendered a contract by the Tigers. The deal reportedly will be worth up to $6 million. Boyd struggled in 2020, but has flashed upside in the past. The 29-year-old posted (3-7) record along with a 6.71 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 60 strikeouts over 60 1/3 innings last season.
