Miles Mikolas (elbow) expected to be ready for spring training

by Jon Mathisen | Cardinals Correspondent | Wed, Dec 9th 6:08pm EST

Miles Mikolas, who underwent surgery to repair a flexor tendon in his elbow, is expected to enter camp on a regular schedule and have a normal spring training, per Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak. (Brenden Schaeffer on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Mikolas missed the entire 2020 season after undergoing surgery but the Cardinals are optimistic that the 32-year old right-hander will be ready to go come spring. Mikolas registered a 4.16 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 2019 with Saint Louis and would be worth a late-round flyer if he doesn't have any setbacks with his elbow in between now and the start of next season.
