Max Scherzer took a no-hitter into the sixth inning until he was betrayed by two Ian Desmond errors, and he took the loss, 3-1. Scherzer's final line: 7 2/3 innings, four hits, three runs (all unearned), eight strikeouts, and two walks for a Game Score of 71.
Fantasy Impact:
Hopefully, the Nats will clean up their defense and provide some offense to back Scherzer. In the meantime, expect strikeouts and a low ERA from the Ace.
