Cole Hamels roughed up against Boston

The first trip to the mound for Cole Hamels this year was a forgettable one. Hamels served up 4 home runs to the visiting Red Sox along with 3 walks and failed to get through more than 5 innings of work while striking out 6.
Fantasy Impact:
Certainly not what fantasy owners were hoping for in Hamels debut but, all things considered, Hamels was lucky. All 4 bombs were of the solo variety, limiting the damage. Hamels will look to get on track in his next outing against a loaded Nationals lineup on Sunday.
