Daniel Bard, Rockies avoid arbitration

The Colorado Rockies and RHP Daniel Bard have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $2.925 million contract. (Bob Nightengale on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The 35-year-old was recently named National League Comeback Player of the Year. Bard's 2020 season was his first in the majors since 2013. It was a remarkable story and he even wound up earning six saves for Colorado. It'll be important to monitor the Rockies' bullpen moves this offseason to get a feel for whether or not Bard has a shot at any saves in 2021.
