Fantasy Impact:
Mark Feinsand of MLB.com noted that it's the same salary Syndergaard agreed to last season to avoid arbitration as well. The 28-year-old flame thrower missed the entire 2020 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery but is expected to return to around June, according to Mets president Sandy Alderson. In 2019, his last full season, Thor registered a 4.28 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over 197 2/3 innings (32 starts).
