Matt Andriese inks one-year deal with the Red Sox

The Red Sox signed free agent RHP Matt Andriese to a one-year contract on Wednesday. The deal includes an option and is worth $7.35 million over two years. (Mark Feinsand on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Andriese was non-tendered by the Angels in early December, but ends up signing a one-year deal with Boston. He has been used as a long reliever and spot starter for most of his career, his role should remain the same with Boston. Andriese owned a 4.50 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 33 strikeouts over 32 innings for the Angels in 2020.
