Stephen Drew

Stephen Drew has a scattered outing

by Chris Zolli | Wed, Apr 8th 10:16pm EDT

Batting eighth for the second consecutive game, Stephen Drew notched his first hit of the 2015 regular season, finishing 1-for-4 with a single in a 4-3 Yankees win over the Blue Jays. He also left four runners on base and had an error.

Fantasy Impact:

Drew has potential as a 2B/SS or MI this season, but he does not have tremendous upside. He will have some good games, some bad games, and should finish the season with 40-45 extra base hits and an OPS in the mid to upper .700s. Those are respectable numbers, especially as a middle infielder, but temper expectations for the Yankees second baseman.
