ESPN's Jeff Passan reports RHP Tomoyuki Sugano failed to reached an agreement with a major league team before his posting window expired. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Sugano is return to Nippon Professional Baseball for the 2021 season, though he'll once again be eligible to come to MLB as a free agent before the 2022 season. Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic that Sugano's yearly salary upon re-signing with the Yomiuri Giants is expected to be in the $8 million range.
