Fantasy Impact:
The Astros were said to have been aggressive in their pursuit of Liam Hendriks, who ended up signing with the White Sox. So Houston decided to bring in Baez, who will likely serve as the setup man in front of Ryan Pressly in 2021 for the Astros. Baez logged a 3.18 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over 17 innings with the World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers last season.
