Dominic Smith and the Mets have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $2.55 million deal. (Bob Nightengale on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Smith was fantastic in 2020, hitting .316/.377/.616 with 10 homers and 42 RBI in 50 games. This was his first year of salary arbitration. It's unclear where Smith will play in the field this season. The Mets are surely hoping for the universal DH to remain intact.
