Jon Morosi of the MLB Network is reporting that the Mets and Blue Jays are the two front runners to sign free agent OF George Springer. (Jon Morosi on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
“George Springer’s decision could come as soon as this week,” said Morosi. The Mets and Blue Jays are the heavy favorites to land Springer. His fantasy value should remain relatively the same for whichever team he signs with. Springer slashed .265/.359/.540 across 220 plate appearances for the Astros in 2020.
