The Red Sox are one of the multiple teams interested in signing free agent RHP Garrett Richards. He managed to stayed healthy in 2020 and was an effective starter for the Padres last season. The 32-year-old owned a 4.03 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and a 46:17 K:BB across 51 1/3 innings. Richards will most likely compete for a rotation spot in Spring Training for whichever team he signs with.
